Celebrate Killingly Vendor Fair Application

September 9, 2023 | You're invited to be a part of this year's Celebrate Killingly Event. You will be notified approximately two weeks after applying about your participation status in the Vendor Fair. Applicants are juried on a first-come, first-served basis.

When:   SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2023, 10:00 AM TO 1:30 PM 


Where:   Owen Bell Park, Dayville, CT 06241


Vendor Setup: 8:00 am to 9:30 am 


Vendor Leave Time: All vendors must leave the park by 2:30 PM at the latest.


Vendor Fee: $50.00 per booth (15’x15’area)


 


Applying to be part of the event does not guarantee an invitation to participate. We will do our best to have a diversity of vendors selling a diversity of items so everyone does well. Thank you for understanding.

Scope of Work




Include at least 3 photos here (or link to your website) and description of the craft(s) you intend to sell. Applications will not be accepted without photos. You may not sell crafts that are not listed on this application.

Additional Information




Advertising: We advertise in the Turnpike Buyer and Shopper’s Guide, plan to have a radio spot on WINY, send notices to local papers, will have at least one sponsored ad on Facebook, as well as share within our open Facebook page. We encourage you to share our Facebook event and personally invite on Facebook family, friends, and co-workers from that event. This event carries on the legacy of the much beloved Great Tomato Festival


Set-up: Day of the event, Saturday, September 9th, 8am-9:30am. 


Deadline: Receipt of application by Monday, August 1st. Applications will be accepted after this date, but will be declined if another crafter has been accepted for the same category.

Electricity: Outlets are not available. Generators are not allowed.



Weather: The event will not be canceled due to rain.










Requirements: The crafter will be responsible to be open during the entire event. You cannot vacate early. Your booth must be neat and well-maintained. You are responsible for setting up, maintaining, and removing your own booth, merchandise, and trash.






Booth: You will need to bring your own tables, tents, chairs, etc. Locations will be assigned by event staff and are non-negotiable.
